Our pulmonary rehabilitation program utilizes a digital first model, giving greater access to our patients who have limited mobility, without sacrificing on quality or personalization.

Pulmonary rehabilitation includes a comprehensive physical assessment, guided exercise program, disease-specific education, and coaching in behavior change techniques. It’s designed to improve the physical and psychological well being of patients with chronic lung disease. The evidence in support of pulmonary rehabilitation is clear; patients who undergo PR feel better, improve their functional status, and stay out of the hospital longer. Pulmonary rehab has proven benefits in COPD (1,2), asthma (3), interstitial lung disease (4), bronchiectasis (5), lung cancer (6), and lung transplantation (7).

Unfortunately, pulmonary rehab is often difficult to access for patients who struggle with limited mobility, lack of access to reliable transportation, or do not live near a conveniently located center. Despite its proven benefits, PR remains significantly underutilized in the United States and conventional rehab programs are limited by major supply constraints.
