Clay Spence is the founder of Nimbus Health. Previously, Clay founded and built the Cicero Institute with Joe Lonsdale, which has passed 40+ laws in states around the country. Clay's interest in healthcare reform inspired him to launch Nimbus to address the needs of the millions of Americans with chronic lung diseases. Clay graduated from Claremont McKenna College with honors, and majored in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics.

Dr. Fadul is a triple board certified pulmonologist, intensivist and internal medicine physician. After completing his medical education at George Washington University, he went to a medical residency at Georgetown University/Washington Hospital Center. After working in private practice, he went on to pursue a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He founded Community Intensivists in 2014, servicing multiple hospital systems before being acquired in 2018. Dr. Fadul has published extensively in clinical medicine, health economics, and digital health, and has presented nationally and internationally on the same.
James Barfield is a versatile engineer with over 15 years of experience in machine learning, wearables, big data, Internet of Things (IoT), and biomedical engineering. He holds over 20 patents and served as a leader in the creation of many IoT, artificial intelligence, and technology platforms for several companies, including Verizon and Medtronic. James attended Georgia Tech, where he earned both a MS and BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering with an emphasis on Biomedical Engineering and Neuroscience. He provides guidance on the development of Nimbus’s innovative technology platform.
Ana Torralba is an Executive Assistant at Nimbus Health. She has more than 10 years of experience working as a generalist, having taken on roles in different fields such as HR; admin; accounting; marketing; events planning and coordination; as well as customer service. She graduated from Assumption College - Makati City, Philippines with a B.S. in Psychology major in Human Service.

Trashundra "Trish" is a seasoned healthcare operations leader with 26 years of physician practice and medical group operations, revenue cycle management, coaching and process improvement experience. She began her journey in healthcare in the late 80s in Oakland California as a high school volunteer and peer advocate at the local Family Practice. This experience ignited her passion for serving others. She has worked in various clinical environments to include Family Medicine, Urgent Care, ObGyn, Teen Clinics, and Ambulatory Surgery centers.
She is an incurable optimist who strives to be a lifelong learner. She believes that an organization's most valuable assets are the front line staff and that a work culture is defined by the leaders who model it. For her, the best approach to problem solving is to anticipate the need.

Aidan wears many hats at Nimbus, where he is involved in a wide range of roles, including M&A, corporate development, analytics, and financial modeling. Prior to joining Nimbus, Aidan gained valuable expertise in finance, investments, supply chain management, and data analytics during his tenure at Engage Ventures, Tech Square Ventures, AT&T, and Omnilift. He holds a degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, graduating with Highest Honors as a Stamps President’s Scholar.

Gautam Chebrolu is a generalist that is helping build robust products at Nimbus, bringing the ability to quickly create and test MVPs. He was previously the cofounder of Pilleve, a digital health venture with the mission to prevent substance abuse and addiction. He holds a dual degree in Biomedical and Electrical/Computer Engineering from Duke University and was honored on the Forbes 30 Under 30 and DC Inno 25 Under 25 lists.

Ashwin Prakash works on Product at Nimbus. He was previously the CTO of Pilleve, a digital health company with the goal of preventing substance abuse and addiction. He graduated from Duke University with a degree in Biomedical Engineering and is always looking to use his skills to improve patient's lives.

Cari Grisham is a passionate and collaborative Operations and Product leader with a deep understanding of the healthcare industry. Her track record boasts successful leadership of cross-functional teams and the establishment of organizations from the ground up. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Cari has been instrumental in driving innovation and impact within the healthcare technology sector. Notably, during her tenure at 100Plus, she played a pivotal role in the launch and success of the AI-enabled remote patient monitoring platform, significantly improving health outcomes for seniors. She brings her expertise in remote monitoring to her role as Director: Nimbus at Home. With a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art and a Minor in Art History from Mills College, Cari combines her artistic creativity with her industry expertise to make a meaningful impact on improving healthcare delivery.

Rhonda Bagby has 25+ years of experience in financial and operational leadership with health plans. She is a leader known for driving growth and innovation and specializing in complex business matters. She has been recognized for being a great leader open to taking on challenging assignments and providing transformational and inclusive leadership. She spent nearly nine years with UnitedHealthcare in market, regional and national financial and operational leadership roles where she is most remembered for her expertise in medical economics and market turnarounds. She spent sixteen years at Humana, of which six were as Regional CFO for the Southeast Region and ten as Market President/Market VP of Sales for commercial business in Louisiana and Mississippi where she led business development, sales, account management, wellness program execution, and internal/external relationship management in addition to P&L responsibility.
In 2021-2022, she spent time with Bright Health Group as VP of Finance/Medical Economics and as Interim CFO for Bright's one million ACA individual marketplace and 150K Medicare Advantage members. In early 2023, she was recruited as CFO for Friday Health Plans, a private equity backed early- stage health plan that later discontinued operations. In 2023, she founded Bagby CPA, LLC, a Florida-based accounting and advisory firm specializing in providing interim and fractional CFO services to health plans and other health and wellness companies. She is a licensed CPA in Florida, Louisiana, and Mississippi. She is also a licensed life and health insurance producer, certified health coach, certified yoga instructor, and has served as a mentor to other professionals. She has been involved extensively in her local community in professional and philanthropic organizations having served as a board member or advisor to numerous organizations. She resides in the Gulf Coast Region, spending time in the Florida panhandle and New Orleans areas with her family and enjoying a coastal lifestyle. She is a lifelong learner and continuously working to bring her best to all endeavors.

Justin Sousa is a full stack developer with a penchant for the startup world, having assisted founding teams in the creation of 3 companies and helping grow the online presence of many more through his own freelance business over the last 12 years. He wrote his first program at the age of 11 and majored in computer science at Stevens Institute of Technology with a minor in physics, given his love of all mathematics. For nearly 30 years, Michael Muchnicki has enjoyed an outstanding career in the health care industry. A former United Healthcare Executive President/CEO/Innovator with experience growing/improving Health Plans/Providers and Health Care Service organizations. Growing multiple markets, improving profits and building management teams. A history of success in scaling businesses through M and A and execution of operational efficiency of multi billion dollar P and L’s. Developed innovation solutions reducing medical costs for payers and at risk providers. Successfully delivered significant growth of multiple businesses both payer and in the Medicare, Medicaid and commercial insurance markets. Significant experience with Medical Groups/ACO/MSO,DSO and payment reform and care delivery.
John Bertrand has over fifteen years of healthcare technology experience. He started his career at Epic Systems in a variety of product and business development roles focused on growth before moving into venture capital at 8VC. During his time in venture John served as Executive in Residence focused on the application of artificial intelligence, software, and alternative care delivery models.
He currently works as CEO for Digital Diagnostics, a pioneering AI diagnostics company on a mission to transform the quality, accessibility, equity, and affordability of global healthcare. Their flagship product, IDx-DR, is the first ever FDA cleared AI algorithm to diagnose a patient without a physician involved.

Dr. Piyush Patel was born and raised in India and received his medical degree from Baroda Medical College. He then completed his family practice residency at the Columbus Medical Center, and he has remained as a dedicated practitioner in the Columbus area for over 15 years. Since he began practicing in Columbus, Dr. Patel has specialized in caring for geriatric patients with a dedicated focus on holistic and preventative care. He has extensive experience as the medical director for multiple skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, private practices, and urgent care while also advising and working with multiple digital health startups. Outside of work, Dr. Patel lives with his wife and two children, who he loves to cook, hike, and watch movies with.
Luke is a 2x founder who's built companies in multiple countries and across industries. Educated at Stanford, LSE, and the US Naval Academy, he brings a wide range of expertise and insight to the Nimbus Health team.
Ari is a surgeon and entrepreneur. He started his company Ostiio while a medical student to improve the surgical care provided to children with birth defects of the facial skeleton.
Miles is an early-stage investor and has advised or invested in 100+ early-stage companies. His co-investors and CEOs would describe him as a driven, fantastically-networked individual who jumps in the deep end of company building. Miles grew up in Tokyo, Japan and graduated from Claremont McKenna College with a degree in History in 2013.
